Cheaper than the dollar store and better quality. Nice gift tags included.I use these types of bags for homemade gifts. I make individual banana breads or other flavors. Or English muffins with jam. These bags are very versatile and I can more in them if I want and still put tissue paper in. They will still look nice.These are Kraft paper gift bags. The paper is durable. Has a slight odor when taken out of the box. The odor goes away.My first impression taking them out of the box was I really like them. They are simple. Not flashy. Matte. It comes with slightly smaller sized post cards that say Merry Christmas.Durability:As I started playing with them, I quickly learned that the lace handles come out of the holes very easily without any effort. Making a simple knot at the base of the lace seems to help prevent this from happening. The paper is strong enough so it does not tear easily. The bottoms are reinforced.The colors:These are natural looking colors. Deep reds and greens.Appearance:4 bags say Happy New Year on the bag along with Merry Christmas. Two bags just use the words Merry Christmas.What can I fit in them? These are nice sized bags. I can easily fit two individual loaves of banana bread in them. There would still be room in them for more fillers. I can easily fit a 1/2 pint or pint jar in and there still be room to add cookies or English muffins. Very versatile.The bag measures almost 8 inches across and about 9.5 inches tall. They are about 4.5 inches wide.These are nice, sturdy bags, a good size for holding over half dozen handmade ornaments as a gift. The colors are deep and subdued, reminiscent of an old world color scheme.These Christmas bags are pretty basic. They are standard kraft paper bags with Christmas decor on them. They are sturdy and will fit smallish gifts. If you are going for a rustic, farm theme, the colors will work well. I do think they are a bit overpriced for what you are getting.Great bags for small- medium size giftsYou can probably get similar stuff cheaper at a local dollar store.It is sturdy enough for most gift items unless you are packinga bag of flours. Comes with 6 note cards to write a short message.Very sturdy.
